The built-in Battery Management System (BMS) protects your 12v lithium battery from overcharging and discharging, excessive currents, short circuits and low and high temperatures to improve performance and extend life. The BMS will quickly cut the battery and the voltage will drop below 1V.

Only when the circuit is cut will the Lifepoo4 batteries automatically reactivate after 1 second (no longer requiring a higher voltage input to activate). The LGECOLFP 12V 100Ah Lifepo4 battery can be used more than 2000 times at 100% discharge and more than 7000 times at 50% (recommended) deep discharge with no loss of performance. The average life of a lead acid battery is two years (500 cycles) at 50% discharge only. This essentially means that lithium batteries 12v last at least five times longer than lead acid batteries, which effectively reduces the overall cost of purchasing batteries.
